My husband is currently under MOB orders and wants me to come see him for 5 or 10 minutes tonight but he wants me to bring our puppy as well. I have a MOB pass but will they let me through the gate with a puppy?

I believe so
Thanx for the cute q.
yea the military doesnt frown on people with pets that come and visit…they just have rules on where a pet can b housed…
As far as I know yes they will. But you might want to call and make sure.
depends because it could have a bomb inside or strapped around it. Could catch diseases from it. Bt i dunno.
Seeing as the puppy can`t have an weapon/drug with him, I think you`ll be fine:)
not into the barracks or any of the buildings but on the grounds is fine.
yes! i bring my dogs on base all the time to pick up my husband!
No they will not allow that the base is not a playground
Base is really weird about animals. Normally to be on base they have to be registered, but if they dont see the puppy, they wont say anything.
You can’t bring a puppy into the barracks or into any building, but I’m pretty sure they’ll let you through the gate with him. It’s not like you’re going to run around wreaking havoc. I don’t think the puppy is allowed to get out of the car though.
yes you can bring your puppy!, as long is not a pitbull or something like that
Yes, as long as you let them know beforehand and what breed it is.
It may interest you to know that many people stationed on base have pets themselves. The number of pets allowed varies by base.
Now what they consider as a pet varies. Most bases only consider cats and dogs as pets. Farm type animals are strictly forbidden in base housing but most bases have a saddle club that you can store your horse if you have one. Another thing to consider is that most if not all bases have a ban on certain types of dogs. For example, potentially aggressive breeds in particular, such as Akitas, Rottweilers, Pit Bulls, Dobermans, or any combination if it has even part of the above breeds.
If you are authorized to go visit your husband, then I don’t see why you wouldn’t be able to take your small dog. My husband is in the Army and I have never heard of MOB orders and don’t know what that is exactly. If he is attending school then the dog will more than likely not be allowed if you plan on going into the barracks. On the other hand, if you plan on just seeing your husband outside the barracks (if that is where he is staying), it shouldn’t be a problem.
I would assume it would be ok……………..
