I’m definitely not one of those people. I don’t think mainstream music sucks so much as I think that the music of today sucks. I had a friend who dismissed Led Zeppelin as a good band b/c they had mainstream success. That kind of attitude is stupid.
i know you will disagree but everyone trys to find music that they dont like if you dont have likes and dislikes then you have no personality i personally try to not listen to music that
1. talks about gat’s hoes.. weed’s OK:) which is most mainstream rap. but i do like some
2. is repetitive simply they should put some god dame effort into a song as they make $
3. has bad lyrics (but this one isn’t always the case)as far as Im concerned everyone CHOOSES not to like certain music because of the influences of other people. EVERYONE can enjoy any music no matter how crap it is if they choose
How do your videos not get muted? My bass covers get muted all the time :S

When I first listened to this – one of the first days after it had been released – I thought: “Hell yeah, the good old times are back!” The same great old mixture: solid funkpunkrockcrossover + fantastic lyrics + lots of musicality! There’s no need to value this great album less than The Uplift Mofo PP or Freaky Styley or Blood Sugar Sex Magik or whatever great stuff they’ve ever made. And you know what? I bet Hillel would have loved it.

not saying they are better then the beatles, or queen. But in my opinion, with all the changes they had in the group, its one of the best bands in 2012!
