  wow so much drama. I’m glad my elders that were alive in this time taught me to respect my elders. how i miss them most of all today! I love this song in most versions but i always love the older one. take a trip down memory lane to a time when the world was different to me! MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

  Was thinking the SAME thing!! This song, for the time period, was pretty sexual. And she sings it like she’s seducing santa, which is funny to me… Best version of this song by far. What a voice. NO PRO TOOLS, NO AUTOTUNE…. Music.. Love it.

  It sucked that I didn’t hear this song once this year when they were playing christmas songs. Instead of this song I got to hear “Rockin around the christmas tree” a few hundred times.

  @1991Avega Eartha did it first in the fall of 1953, hence the 1954 car. (I saw her on Broadway the year before in New Faces.)
