@ccth22 Tiger is stronger. In 80% of battles with tiger vs lion the tiger will always win. Lions usually attack with one paw while tigers use both paws. Tigers are also more fierce and muscular, lions are bold but weaker. Tiger rules Lions. In fact tigers only have to fear people and other tigers. Lions have to fear Lions, people and also tigers.

@no1aviator no matter what you say there is reason the lion is called king of the jungle and the way it walks
    shows it

@afghanstoray The ONLY reason why Lions are called ‘king of the jungle’ is because of it’s mane, It looks like a crown. But authentically, Tigers are the kings of the Jungle. Lions are just show offs to be real. They walk like that because they are stiff, Tigers are much more muscular and agile compared to Lions. Lions are bold and proud animals, but Tigers are graceful and fierce. Tigers will always own. Lions remind me of an arrogant bastard who get’s his ass kicked for showing off lmao! :D

@no1aviator where you get your stats about tiger winning none around whatsoever my friend. size doesnt matter. jet li can take down twice his weight. the lion walks with pride because he knows he owns the jungle.

@afghanstoray Type in *who is stronger tiger vs lion wikianswers* into google and read for yourself. Jet-li can take down a man twice his weight because he is in better physical shape, he has better co-ordination and he is an all round better fighter, it is exactly the same case with a Tiger. Lions look big and mighty but it is just showing off, compared to the tiger, Lions are alot weaker. Tigers are the better fighters. Let me guess… are you a Leo? lol Well Im sorry but it’s the truth.

It’s pretty obvious that big cats aren’t exactly practical to feed or take care of in a house, I don’t think many of those who haven’t figured that out yet are likely to listen now.

What about small wild cats, though? Your videos seem to focus mostly on why not to keep big cats as pets, but small wild cats, who look like domestic cats, and whose behavioural differences from them aren’t as obvious, might make a good subject of focus for future videos.

@HiddenFacedMatt The same rule applies for the smaller species too, they can be just as aggressive as the larger species. Good idea for a future video to explain this though, thanks :)

It shocked me that there are like more captive tigers held privately in the US than in the wild. People think they help the tigers by having one, not making them go extinct. But when people want to buy wild animals like these big cats the market on them expands and people capture them in the wild (not always, but their popularity as pets still go up) to then sell these exotic animals to their future pet owners. It’s not good.
If you want to help these animals you can do it in different ways.

@mchenrinson There is a double sided coin to address here. First: humans MUST be controlled so we stop taking what the cats need to live in the wild away from them. This is the hardest issue to address as we’re dealing with the behavior of our own species. Second: Wild animals do NOT belong in captivity. They are magnificent creatures, but their only true master is mother earth itself. We need to work on both sides of the coin at the same time. Individually we can’t do much, but together we can.

My house cat weighs around twenty pounds. Pretty big tabby. When he gets “wild”, I put a welder’s glove on and play with him. Are these people serious believing they can keep a big cat around? I never blame the animal for an attack. Cats are cats, no matter the size. That’s the interesting thing about them.

@BigCatRescue smaller species make okay pets. Bobcats is suitable as long as state governments issue a license for bobcats. I think bobcats should be legal in all 50 states, and other animals as well such as badgers and skunks.

@randomguyodst46 There’s no such thing as tame wild cats, that’s the problem.

  • BigCatRescue
    15 December, 2011, 8:31

@FireGuyX The simple answer is…..No WILD species of cats will ever make suitable “pets” they are solitary animals in the wild, spray to mark their territory and are dangerous and unpredictable.
