Puppy got his foot stuck in puppy playpen gate?

This item was filled under [ Pet Gate ]

i was about to take my pup out for a bathroom break. He gets excited easily, so he lunged his two front paws on top of the gate to greet me. All of a sudden, one of his toes/fingers gets stuck in the gate and he lets out this really loud cry and was going crazy. I opened the gate to free his paw, but i noticed he was bleeding. He was really traumatized. He is a golden and they have webbed feet, so he had a tear in between his toes. I also think he sprained it because i tried to put pressure on the wound to stop the bleeding, but he really didnt like it. I am furious at this company for making these supposedly "pet safe" gates. He is bleeding and not walking on his injured paw. What do i do?

Are you seriously asking this on Yahoo Answers?

It will take less time to just phone your vet and ask what to do than to sit here and wait for answers while your puppy continues to bleed.

ADD: All vets have an emergency answering service. I also suspect that you have an After Hours/Emergency clinic.

What you do is you take him to the vet to have his injury treated.

Poor little fella, I hope he’s ok.
