  @batsandcandy Neurochannels was being a bit OTT. By his logic, if they watch 10 of these videos they will likely have a minus IQ, which is obviously not true. What is true however is that these videos have no benefit and actually any test conducted has shown that they have detrimental results. The University of Washington, Princeton, Cambridge have all done studies on “Baby learning videos” such as the Baby Genius series. All results show a detrimental effect to varying extremes.

  Just google baby einstein and langauge development. you will learn that these programs are actually detrimental to your child’s development. And the damage is dose dependent. the more they watch them, the worse their language skills. There is no substitute to YOU stimulating your child.
